Attention dam busters, thank your legislators!
As reported by the Akron Beacon Journal on May 4, the Ohio Legislator pass a capital budget that appropriated $750,000 to removal of the Gorge Dam. For more info on this and the other projects in Summit County, click here.
Take a minute to send your State Senator and Representative a quick note to thank them and to reemphasize the importance of this project to water quality in the Cuyahoga River and to advancing the quality of life, improving economic development, attracting jobs and skilled employees, expanding and connecting recreational opportunities, restoring the aesthetic and historic significance of gorge and cementing Northeast Ohio as tourist destination.
