Hike at the Gorge

Meet in the Gorge Metro Park parking lot.  Length 1.8 miles.  Wear hiking boots suitable for uneven rocky surfaces that are slippery when wet.   View the rugged rock formations of the Gorge.  See the infamous dam and hear about the natural history and human history of this park.  Learn about the vision for a restored Gorge without the dam.  The plan is to hike even if there is snow on the ground as the winter ice formations can be spectacular.  If there is any doubt the hike being held due to the weather check our Facebook page by 10 am the morning of the hike.  Contact John Kaminski,riverkeeper@wideopenwest.com, or 440-666-1674 for more information.
