Canceled – Bike Tour of the Flats West Bank

Our first ever bike tour of the western Flats in Cleveland! Ride past historic churches, see the Scranton Spoon, learn about Central Viaduct disaster, view the Cleveland fire boat and visit the new Cleveland MetroParks Rivergate Park. Up close views of steel mills and railroad operations. The tour uses the parts of the Towpath Trail that are completed in this area, W. 14th in Tremont which has a bike lane, and some streets without a bike lane but without much traffic. There is one large incline in each direction.
Meet in Steelyard Commons at the Steel Heritage Center, 3275 Steelyard Drive, Cleveland, OH, 44109. This modest building is locate in the northeast portion of Steelyard Commons behind the Burger King and Five Guys restaurants.
If the weather is not looking good a decision to cancel the ride will be posted on Facebook by 8:30 a.m. the morning of the ride.
